This is part of a week long worldwide observance of the anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical on the environment, Laudato Si, On Care for Our Common Home.

“Prayer for Peace” – 6.3.2014
Tuesday evening, June 3rd, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.,
At the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 150 French Road, Rochester 14618
(Women of the Well’s contribution to the monthly prayer for peace).
“The Red Cord” – Women’s Retreat: 10/20/12 – 10/21/12
A retreat that features women from ancient days, through New Testament times, to
the present, who have done the women’s work of handing on the Good News.
This will be held at the Jesus House Prayer and Renewal Center,
2501 Old Milltown Road, Wilmington, Delaware
Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21.
“A Celebration of Our Sisters” : 8/19/2012

It will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 19th, 2:00- 4:00 p.m.

The Women of the Well will be doing the
storytelling portion of the event, which will be the first hour; this will be
followed by participants’ opportunities to express gratitude for the Sisters who
have touched their lives. We will close with prayer.

“Women of the Well” will lead the Opening and Closing Prayer at this eventof the Western New York Guild of the International Network of Biblical Storytellers.
Prayer times are 9:30 – 10:00 am and 12:30 – 1:00 pm with two workshops in the morning on the skills of Biblical storytelling.
